Night Shots during the Perseids

I had hoped a shooting star would streak across the sky while I had my shutter open this last weekend. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case (got distracted by the light on the horizon anyways). I found myself really missing my old, ultra wide angle lens that would have allowed me to get more of the sky in each shot. Maybe time to swing by the camera store and spend a ridiculous amount of money.

The old wagon and thrasher photos are taken from a farm just south of Calgary. I was blown away by the generosity of the land owners to let two strangers on to their farm in the early hours of the morning. A huge thanks to Tracy and Leonard!
